Senior Accountant (m/f) 

to join our expanding Finance  team in our Munich , Germany (DE) office.

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Financial Accounting: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts receivable, Asset Accounting, Payroll Accounting, Revenue Recognition
  • Managing Payment transactions, Cash Management (national, international), Treasury
  • Performing Account analysis and reconciliation
  • Performing Month-end, quarterly and annual financial statements on Corporate level (IFRS, HGB consolidation) including investor reporting
  • Managing external relationships with auditors, tax advisors, legal counsels, tax authorities, customers and vendors
  • Leading and managing financial and tax audits, ensure compliance with IFRS and HGB principles
  • Maintaining and monitoring the accounting ledgers for venture capital funds and related investment vehicles
  • Investor Relations, Due Diligence, Equity administration
  • Liaison with legal counsel and corporate accounting staff
  • Project work to further automate reporting and related processes

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor or Master degree in accounting or finance or similar Certificate, Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is a must
  • 10+ years of experience in Accounting / Finance/ Audit preferably in a multinational company
  • Experience in working with Auditors, financial authorities and legal counsel
  • Experience with VC and private equity is a plus
  • Very good MS Navision or other ERP solutions and MS office skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and German
  • Ability to act and operate independently
  • Experience in the supervision of a team is a bonus
